OurHouseKC adds a family-friendly option to Restaurant Row, inspired by the Zahner’s own brood of four kids who are as passionate about this new family venture as anyone.
“Not only did our kids help create the menu” said Maggie Zahner, “they inspired the concept. We saw the need for great food, drinks and music that the entire family could enjoy and wanted to craft that space for our family, and yours.”
“The menu is inspired by our love of smoked meats and homestyle fare,” said Joe Zahner. “You’ll see the inspiration run throughout the breakfast, lunch & dinner menus, with featured items like a Burnt End French Dip sandwich or the KC Cheesesteak.” But the menu doesn’t stop there. A full bar and rooftop patio make this focused casual dining experience, perfect for friends, colleagues or families, something Kansas City has been missing. In addition to the restaurant and bar, OurHouseKC has a unique café space serving handcrafted coffee drinks, homemade pastries and grab & go meals.
