Zoo Year’s Eve at the Kansas City Zoo

Roar in the New Year at the Kansas City Zoo. Why wait until midnight to celebrate the New Year? The KC Zoo is kicking off the party early with a countdown to noon! Some of the animals will also be receiving special themed enrichment.
Wonder Eve at Wonderscope Children’s Museum

Welcome in 2025 at our special event that includes crafts, face painting, balloon artists, and a confetti celebration at noon to welcome in the new year!

We will be open from 9 a.m.- noon on Tuesday, December 31 for this special event. The museum will close immediately following the noon confetti celebration.

Free for members. Admission tickets available at the door for non-members. ($12 for adults 16+, $16 for children 2-15, free for children under 2).

Noon Year’s Eve at Blue Valley Recreation

Join us for a spectacular Noon Year’s Eve celebration, specially designed for kids! Kick off the party with swimming and gymnastics free play, craft your own noise maker, and unleash your cupcake decorating skills. When the clock strikes noon, get ready for an epic balloon drop and confetti explosion! The moment will be captured with a photo booth, where kids can take snapshots to commemorate this special occasion.

Kick off your New Year’s Eve festivities early with a one-of-a-kind celebration for you and your four-legged friends at our biggest party of the year—Noon Year’s Eve! This Bar K tradition is THE event on every dog’s holiday calendar, where early birds and early dogs come together for a celebration like no other.

Noon Year’s Eve Pajama Party Countdown

Come dressed in your comfiest pajamas to count down to the new year. This family-friendly countdown (at 12 p.m. noon, instead of 12 a.m. midnight) will feature board games, giveaways, a time capsule activity, a sing along of the New Year’s anthem: Auld Lang Syne and more!
