Brookside
The Roasterie Cafe in Brookside is nestled on the corner of the quaint Brookside shops. It is the classic community staple where you’ll find a mix of moms with tots, students and entrepreneurs. With two patios, this is the perfect spot to enjoy your drink of choice when the weather in Kansas City is cooperating. The Roasterie’s new grab n go food selections came in handy as I hadn’t eaten lunch. I enjoyed the chicken bacon and kale Caesar wrap and sipped on the Brookside Bob, a delicious coffee with hints of chocolate minty goodness.
This location is great to stop in while visiting the Brookside shops, enjoying the patio with friends and quiet place to get away.
The Factory
The iconic headquarters that every Kansas Citian needs to visit at least once. The smell of coffee lures you in and you know you’re in the right spot when you find The Plane! The Factory is home to the canning and production line, a cafe and a marketplace to make sure your home is always stocked with Roasterie coffee and merch. The Factory offers tours and classes and is a great place to spend a day in Kansas City. With large tables and plenty of parking, this is a great spot for a team meeting or small get together with friends. I asked the barista to surprise me with her favorite beverage. She chose a signature drink, The Sweet Mocha Madness, which was like drinking a dessert with a sweet and velveetys finish. This location also has a very convenient drive-thru if you just need a quick on the go pick me up!
This location is great to get a behind the scenes look at how coffee is produced, perfect for coffee connoisseurs to enjoy the day and group meetings.
Leawood
Woodside
The Woodside Cafe is located in Woodside Village near KU Med. Its hip, modern and stylish and fits right in with the area shops. With plenty of parking, it is the perfect place to stop in for a quick drink or get work done while you enjoy the beautiful aesthetic. The light fixtures and murals were just as enjoyable as my Honeycomb latte featuring local honey and hints of vanilla.
This location is perfect to stop in after shopping on the Plaza, before heading to KU med or while exploring the neighborhoods.
The Children’s Mercy Cafe
The Roasterie Cafe at Children’s Mercy Hospital is located inside the hospital lobby. The cafe can be accessed from anywhere on the Adele Hall Campus without having to leave the hospital. Down to the very design, this Children’s Mercy Hospital location has kept even its tiniest customers in mind with children size chairs and tables and with its location next to a fully fenced-in outside seating area where you can enjoy your coffee and hot chocolate in the fresh air.
The CMH Cafe boasts a signature drink called the “Hospital Hill”. It includes locally sourced honey, cinnamon, and espresso.
This location also features kid friendly snacks and pastries and a phone charging station. This Roasterie location certainly offers a welcome respite to patrons of Children’s Mercy Hospital and is perfect for patients and visitors of Children’s – Adele Campus.
