Santa Claus came to Kansas City and oh what fun we had at Morning At The North Pole at Strang Reserve in Downtown Overland Park.
We were thrilled to have Ko Martial Arts (KOMA) as our photo stop sponsor. The special photo stop featured Huggie, an adorable oversized stuffed bear that gave real hugs, provided by The Looking Glass Photo Booths.

Guests made their way through the event taking part in an abundance of holiday fun along the way. Kids and their families decorated sugar cookies and customized drinks at a fun hot chocolate bar. They created bracelets, ornaments and play dough, painted joyful holiday artwork, and prepared reindeer food for the big night. They played holiday tunes on instruments, got way-cool balloon art, took a crack at a reindeer games obstacle course and wrote letters to Santa before they made their way to see the big man.
In the spirit of the season, attendees dropped off so many donations of diapers, peanut butter and jelly to benefit Operation Breakthrough.
Finally, Santa closed the event with a reading of “The Night Before Christmas.”
