This Tuscan themed B&B is close to the Somerset Wine Trail. These wineries offer tours and often have food trucks and live music. The owner of Casa Somerset is a gourmet chef and you can expect your breakfast to be delicious and made to order with locally sourced ingredients.

Circle S Ranch and Country Inn (Lawrence, KS)

The land has actually been a working ranch for six generations, and in the late 90s they built the inn, fashioned after a Kansas barn and silo. Spa services are offered on site and they have a hot tub room in the silo. With their country location they are able to provide activities on site such as hiking, fishing, and horseback riding. A full country breakfast is included with your stay.

The Inn at Meadowbrook (Prairie Village, KS)

This large inn is situated within the new Meadowbrook Park. They have amenities on site including an outdoor pool, fitness center, and cruiser bikes available to rent to explore the park. They offer large family suites if you want to bring your kids as well as more intimate rooms for couples. Breakfast is not included with your stay but there is a restaurant and a cafe on site so breakfast, lunch, and dinner are just a short walk away.

Sweet Acres Bed and Breakfast (Eudora, KS)

This B&B is situated just a block from downtown Eudora where you will find shopping and restaurants. Breakfast is provided each morning and you can have romantic extras such as flowers or chocolate at an additional cost if you contact them prior to your stay.

Victorian Veranda Inn (Lawrence, KS)

The inn opened in the 90s just outside the city limits. It is a country setting but only a short drive to downtown Lawrence for great shopping and dining. They host many weddings and have beautifully maintained gardens on site. Breakfast is included with your stay.

Albonee Country Inn (Independence, MO)

This inn overlooks the property’s vineyard in the country outside of town. The winery is open on weekends and frequently has live music. A hearty breakfast is offered in the mornings featuring their “country inn potatoes.”

The Historic Browning  (Lee’s Summit, MO)

This is part boutique hotel/part home and dates back to 1889. The rooms are decorated by local boutiques and they host events including weddings, showers, and parties. Something important to note is that the entire house has to be rented out instead of an individual room. That makes this spot a great location for a girls weekend or an extended family reunion, but not a romantic weekend away with just your partner.

The Inn at Belvoir Winery (Liberty, MO)

This inn is in the historic Odd Fellows Home. The building has an interesting history and some believe it is haunted. While it is an old building, the rooms have modern and luxurious decor. Make sure to check out the wine tasting during your stay.

The Inn at Ophelia’s (Independence, MO)

This inn sits above Ophelia’s Restaurant on the historical Independence Square. They provide breakfast and also offer room service. The restaurant and inn were opened in an effort to help with the revitalization of the Independence Square, which now hosts many shops and restaurants.

Main Street Inn (Parkville, MO)

This inn was voted the best bed and breakfast in the Northland. It is located near downtown Parkville where you will find shops, restaurants, and a beautiful trail along the river in English Landing Park. Two of the suites feature two person jacuzzi tubs. A three course breakfast is served each morning and you can choose to eat in the dining room or privately in your suite. Make sure to check out all of their specials and add-ons if you are celebrating a special occasion.

Silver Heart Inn (Independence, MO)

This inn is in a home that dates back to 1856. They offer rooms in the main house as well as private cottages that have full kitchens and laundry facilities (perfect for a longer stay). Breakfast is included in your stay and they are happy to accommodate dietary needs. If you enjoy murder mystery dinners, this is the place for you! Combine the event with an overnight stay for a memorable experience. The Silver Heart Inn is also accessible with ramps, an elevator, and a roll-in shower.

Woodstock Inn (Independence, MO)

This inn is located in the historic district of Independence, MO. The European themed rooms include a French Riviera spa suite, Moroccan king room, and an Italian spa suite with a fireplace (to name just a few). Weston, Missouri

The Coal House Lodge

This might be the most unique place you’ll ever spend the night. It used to be a coal elevator, but you’d never guess that by the way it is has been decorated. The lodge houses just one bedroom so you will have the entire place to yourself. A diner style breakfast is brought to you each morning.

Hatchery House Bed and Breakfast

This B&B is a block from Main Street and features the main house and a private cottage. They serve a gourmet breakfast on weekends and a gourmet to-go breakfast on weekdays.

The Inn at Weston Landing

This inn is located next door to the popular Weston Brewing Company and their outdoor beer garden. They offer several special packages including a s’mores package that can be used in their private garden. Breakfast is included with your stay.

The Murphy House B&B

This B&B was built in 1912 and is located only a couple of blocks from downtown Weston. There are only two rooms at the B&B so it is very quiet and private. A full breakfast is served each morning.

Weston Firefly Inn

This inn is a newer inn located in an 1895 home. They offer three rooms, two of which have large soaking tubs. A continental breakfast is provided on weekdays and a full sit down breakfast on weekends. On Friday and Saturday nights they offer a social hour featuring local beers and wines.

Weston Steamboat Inn

This inn was built in 1845 by a steamboat captain and after years of being in disrepair the new owners began the restoration process in 2014. It is situated two blocks from downtown Weston with beautiful views of the area. They offer a gourmet breakfast each morning in their sunroom or out on the veranda. On weekends, they offer wine tastings during their happy hour.
