Santa’s sleigh has landed in Kansas City. From the mall to immersive experiences to our favorite event, Morning at the North Pole, you’ll have many opportunities to tell Santa what’s on your list.

Visit Santa at Crown Center
Nov. 29 – Dec. 24

Welcome Santa Claus as he arrives in a horse-drawn carriage to kick off the holiday season on November 29 at 10 a.m. Then, join Santa as he makes his way to Santa’s Gingerbread Station, where he resides through December 24.
No admission fee. Learn more.

Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops
November 2-December 24

Head to your local Bass Pro Shop for photos with Santa. Advance reservations are required in all locations and can go quickly.

Visit Santa at Oak Park Mall
November 16-December 24

Reserve a time online to see Santa at the mall. Visits are always free, photo packages and keepsakes are available for purchase.

Santa Saturdays at Park Place
Saturdays, Nov. 23-Dec. 21

Visit and take (free) pictures with Santa on Saturdays (11 a.m.-4 p.m.) leading up to Christmas! Also, enjoy our Dickens carolers as they join to create a nostalgic holiday shopping and dining experience. Bring your kids, pets, friends and family for this free holiday fun!

Holiday Reflections at Union Station

Santa will make special appearances inside Holiday Reflections from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. unless otherwise stated, on:

While he’s here, Santa will roam throughout Holiday Reflections to interact with guests and take informal photos with guests. He will not be seated in a specific location for traditional Santa visits.

Winter Wonderland at KC Pumpkin Patch
November 22 – December 15

Festivities run select weekends during the season beginning at 5:30pm. We’ll have plenty of opportunities to capture forever memories together with your family with photo ops, photos with Santa and “The Mean One,” and lots of yummy extras available for purchase (including drinks, festival foods, and more). Tickets available.

Meet Santa at Zona Rosa – Sensory Friendly
Dec. 1 & 8, 11 am. – noon

Zona Rosa will be offering sensory-friendly Santa Photos on two dates this holiday season in Santa’s Winter Wondering. Children with sensory sensitivities can visit with Santa in a calm, quiet setting one hour before the set opens to the general public.

Morning at the North Pole
Dec. 7, 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Ho, ho, ho! Kansas City Mom Collective is excited to host Morning at the North Pole With Santa on Saturday, Dec. 7, at The Mint in Lenexa! Holiday fun is the name of the game when you take part in this awesome and stress-free morning full of games, crafts, treats and of course a visit with Santa! Tickets available now.

Cookies with Santa at Mahaffie
Nov. 28, 30 & Dec. 5, 7

During Cookies with Santa you and your group can enjoy cookies, cocoa, and of course a meeting with Santa himself! Each group reserves a 10 minute spot for their meeting with the big guy, which means NO LINES! Register on Mahaffie’s website.

Father Christmas at Ernie Miller Nature Center
December 7, 10 a.m.

Woodland Tales with Father Christmas will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. Dec. 7 at Ernie Miller Park, 909 N. K-7 Highway, Olathe. The program features story telling, wildlife and opportunity to take a photo with a woodsy Santa Claus. Attendees are encouraged to bring a canned food item to help those in need. Children and families will also enjoy a sweet treat after their visit.

Sarah McGinnity
Sarah grew up in Manhattan, Kansas (Go Cats!), she moved to Minnesota where she met her husband, Shea. Realizing how much she hated snow in May, she convinced him to move to Kansas City in 2010. Together they have lived in Midtown, Waldo, the Plaza, and now Overland Park. Sarah is mom to four kids including a teenager and a toddler. She has her master’s in urban administration and is passionate about making Kansas City a more equitable and supportive community. In between the crazy, she likes to drink coffee, run, hike, travel as much as possible, and experience all things Kansas City!
