There are so many fun St. Patrick’s Day parades in Kansas City to choose from. If your kids aren’t on spring break on the 17th, you’re in luck because there are several parades the weekend before. Don’t forget to wear green and bring a bag for collecting candy!

Saturday, March 8
Overland Park St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The parade begins at 10 a.m. Come to the annual Overland Park St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Overland Park! The parade route starts at 79th and Floyd Street and goes west on 79th Street to Santa Fe Drive. It then proceeds along Santa Fe Drive to Robinson Street.
Saturday, March 15
Belton St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The parade begins at 5 p.m. along Main Street.
Brookside St. Patrick’s Day Warm-Up Parade
The parade begins at 2 p.m. The route begins at 65th and Wornall Road. You can check out the full parade route here.
Lee’s Summit Shamrock the Block
Lee’s Summit is doing a block party with live music, food trucks, and activities instead of a traditional parade from 10 p.m. – noon.
Snake Saturday Parade
The parade begins at 11 p.m. The parade route and tips for parking info can be found here. Make sure to check out the festival area before, during, and after the parade. There are carnival rides, concessions, and a petting zoo.
Sunday, March 16

Martin City St. Patrick’s Parade
The parade begins at 2 p.m. The route starts at 135th and Washington and ends at 135th and Holmes.
Shawnee St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The parade begins at 1 p.m. The parade route travels east on Johnson Drive from Monrovia Street to Niemen Road. This year there will also be a Shamrock O’Market from 10 p.m. to 1 p.m. featuring over 40 local vendor, food trucks, and a bier garden. Don’t forget to check out the Sister Cities Duck Race at 1:30 p.m. as well!
Monday, March 17
Kansas City St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The parade begins at 11 p.m. The parade route runs along Broadway starting at Linwood and proceeds south to 43rd Street. Check out the FAQs for tips on parking and other parade details.
Lawrence St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The parade begins at 1 p.m.. The parade starts at South Park and travels along Mass Street through downtown Lawrence.
Leavenworth St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The parade begins at noon. The parade starts at 4th Street and Cherokee and runs along the parade route mapped out here.
