Summer Bash – June 21
Kansas City Mom Collective is excited to partner with Park Place for a brand new free event for families! Join us at our Summer Bash in Barkley Square on Saturday, June 21 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. With live entertainment from KC Aerial Arts, Dan the Bubble Man and a dance party, come celebrate summer with us!
Second Saturday for Kids
Every second Saturday of the month (May-October), FREE themed entertainment for kids takes over Barkley Square. Check out the next event lineup below and make sure to visit

Pinwheel Club
Bring your kiddos to Barkley Square every Tuesday morning in June and July for Pinwheel Club, a free event with crafts, entertainment and games!
KCMC Tip: Make sure to grab yourself a delicious coffee from Outta the Blue Cafe to fuel up. And if you still have energy to burn after, pop into Owen and Graham and Pink Antlers, two cute boutiques for some fun local shopping!
Summer Concert Series
Mark your calendars for free live music every Saturday in June and August. The lineup has something for everyone, featuring music from pop, 80s, classic rock, island tunes, or tribute bands.
June 7: Stolen Winnebagos – Not your ordinary cover band bringing a diverse range of hits including classic rock, new wave, grunge, and hip hop
June 14: Material Girl & The Fame Monster – Madonna & Lady Gaga tribute bands
June 21: Perpetual Change – 80s & 90s favorites
June 28: The Zeros – 80s new wave
August 2: Joshua Tree – U2 tribute band
August 9: The Suburbans – Dance hits from the 70s to today

Movies in the Square
Park Place’s free movie series is back. Watch your favorites on a state-of-the-art large outdoor screen! Movies in the Square is on most Saturdays in July and September, with a grand finale in October. All begin at dusk, around 8:30 p.m. in July/ 7:15 p.m. in September/October). Here is the lineup:

Guitars & Games
Bring the family game night outside with life-size Jenga, Connect 4, corn hole and more! Kids will love to run around and parents will enjoy solo performances while chilling on the Adirondack chairs! Every Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., May through September. Check out the full lineup here.
Wednesday Date Night
