Need an excuse to wear that Halloween costume one more time and add to your candy stash? Check out these fun and mostly free events around town during the last two weeks of October. There are trick-or-treat events, tons of trunk or treat opportunities, plus festivals and parades. Put on that costume and get that candy!

Multi-Date Events

  • Boo at the Zoo This year’s trick-or-treat event will be October 25 and 26 from 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Friends of the Zoo members receive early admission from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Check out our mom’s guide to the Kansas City Zoo and Aquarium.
  • Tricks and Treats at Worlds of Fun takes place on Saturdays and Sundays from September 13 – November 1. This is a fun event offering Halloween activities for kids throughout the park.
