10 Reasons to Attend the Indoor Spring Egg Hunt

The birds are chirping again and flowers are slowly starting to peek out from the ground which can only mean one thing… SPRING IS HERE! And that means it’s time for the Spring Egg Hunt on April 4 at HomeField-Olathe.

10 Reasons Why You Should Attend the Spring Family Egg Hunt

10. The Weather

We’ve all been there: soggy fields, cold temps, hot temps or even complete rainouts. Egg hunting in can be unpredictable this time of the year in Kansas City. But we’re taking that factor out of the equation with a perfect, climate-controlled hunt taking place on the fields at HomeField!

9. Two Sessions To Choose From

Whether you’re looking to avoid a sports game, cranky time or bumping into lunch and naps, we’ve got you! Choose the session that best suits your family’s needs. Session 1 runs from 9-10:15 a.m. and Session 2 runs from 10:30-11:45 a.m. Identical activities will be hosted at both. All children will need to purchase a ticket to gain entry, their adults are free! Buy your tickets early, as the price will increase to $15 at the door.

8. Soft Play for the Little Ones

We’re excited to welcome Wild Tots with a soft play set up for our youngest egg hunters. There is truly something for all ages!

7. The Eggs

Forget those tiny plastic trinkets from eggs that end up in the trash. Your kids will hunt for empty eggs and turn them in for curated bags of fun and age-appropriate items. Bags will be filled with goodies from Andy’s Frozen Custard, Russell Stover Chocolates, sensory toys from Lesong Sensory Toys, travel straws from GoSili, free skate passes from Skate City, bubbles from Mid-Continent Library, fruit jerky from Solely, and more!

6. The Giveaways

Hidden inside eggs around the hunt are our golden tickets. If your kiddo finds one of those, they will be the winner of one of our many fabulous prizes. They’ll have a chance to win passes to Midwest Trust Center at Johnson County Community College, Wonderscope Children’s Museum, National Museum of Toys and Miniatures, Rainbow Slime Co, and more!

5. The Games

Our wonderful sponsors will be on hand, hosting fun at every turn.Take part in a springtime obstacle course with KOMA Taekwondo+. Flip tires and do bean bag toss games with KidStrong, compete in the inflatable obstacle course courtesy of KC Fun Squad.

4. The Fun

Beyond the games, you can play instruments at the Bach To Rock-Leawood instrument petting zoo, get your face painted from LeBlanc & Associates Dentistry for Children, play at the play-doh station with Little Sunshine Playhouse, create an suncatcher with New Horizon Academy, and make a sticker craft with Sweet Tooth Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics.

3. Limited numbers

There are other egg hunts in town, but most don’t control the guest count, resulting in a very chaotic event. We purposefully cap our numbers so everyone has room to spread out and have fun!

2. The Bunny

The coolest bunny around is back and ready for all of the family photos and selfies your Instagram feed can handle.

1. The Experience – Planned By Moms FOR Moms

If you’re like us, you’ve been to egg hunts before that are a little bit wild. We guarantee that every child gets a certain number of eggs and that no one leaves empty-handed. Everyone leaves happy, even the parents!
