Recovering from Birth Trauma | Kansas City MomCast Sponsored Episode

Every new mom and family has a unique story to tell about the birth of their baby. While many of those stories are filled with joy, some can be marked by unexpected challenges. So what happens when the birth experience doesn’t go according to plan?

Today we’ll dive into a sensitive topic that’s getting a lot of attention right now – birth trauma. This type of trauma doesn’t always mean a worst-case scenario, like a NICU stay or a C-section, but rather those moments where things don’t go according to plan, and the experience leaves an emotional or physical mark.

Join us as we talk with Dr. Natasha Ahmed, an OB-GYN with HCA Midwest Health about what birth trauma is and what to do if your birth plan doesn’t go as expected.
