While kids can be expensive from activity fees to doctor’s visits to the latest toy they definitely don’t need (but is so cute), baby gear and clothes are the places I’ve learned to save the most.
As spring approaches, Kansas City consignment sales are in full swing meaning time for our family to stock up on summer clothes and the next stage of needed baby items.
I’ve shopped at many in the Kansas City area and have found Rhea Lana’s – Overland Park to be my favorite! I struck the jackpot with summer clothes and some for the fall for both my boys in brands like Polo, Hanna Andersson, Gap and Old Navy as well as Stride Rite and Sperry shoes. The clothes are always pre-sorted for quality so I don’t have to spend time checking for stains and tears.
And then an adorable wooden rocking chair ($20), just because. (My husband loves this attitude when I am shopping).Â
The good news is the Rhea Lana sale continues at the Overland Park Trade Center through Thursday, including two days of public half price sales. The even better news is Kansas City Moms Blog is giving away two $25 gift certificates to help you save more!
Comment on our Facebook page by telling us what deal you’d most like to score at Rhea Lana’s and be entered for a chance to win. Winners will be announced at 3 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 9.
Good luck!
