Bloom :: An Event for New and Expectant Moms is almost here! We’ve been busy planning a special evening for you – while you’re safe at home.
Here are just a few reasons you’ll want to invest this time for yourself from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10.
Empowering Speakers
Be inspired (no matter how tired or pregnant you are!) by the sister therapists Laura Probasco Johnson and Leah Probasco of New Strong. They will help you learn on to advocate for yourself by finding community and support as you travel on your motherhood journey. And if you’ve been feeling disappointed that this chapter in your life wasn’t quite how you pictured it, you aren’t alone. We promise this presentation will leave you feeling a bit more hopeful and empowered!
Local Resources
We want to help you start motherhood on the right foot by introducing you to the resources available to you right here in our community from the best photography, pampering, pregnancy and postpartum services, medical providers, sleep trainers and those who make your home life easier! We’ll have tips from Bloom Pediatrics and Lactation, Bundles Photography, Children’s Therapy Services, Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool, Nannies of Kansas City, Oh Baby KC, Pediatric Care Specialists, Raising Littles.
Giveaways (including a Babymoon!)
Overflowing Swag Bag! ($225+ value)
Drive Thru Baby Shower for VIP Guests
Join us for a drive thru baby shower event as you pick up your VIP or VIP Premier swag bag on Monday, September 7 from 4-6 p.m. at Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool in Overland Park. In addition to picking up your bag with $225+ value in baby and mom products, we’ll shower you with treats from Nekter Juice Bar, Cookie Hustle, McLain’s Bakery, Brown Sugar Chicken and Donuts and more! You’ll have a chance to take a selfie at our super cute backdrop, and we’ll make you feel like the rockstar mama you are.
Make Mom Friends, the Easy Way
We know it’s not easy to put yourself out there. Especially when you’re tired from pregnancy, baby life or toddler drama. But the only way we all get through this motherhood gig is with a strong community to lift us up. That’s the mission of Kansas City Mom Collective – to not only connect you to each other online but in meaningful relationships offline. Even if it’s just one morning, we hope you’ll leave feeling a little less alone in this journey.
