Monarch Books & Gifts, the first independent bookstore in Overland Park, will be celebrating Independent Bookstore Day with children’s readings, face painting, a prize wheel and juice and donuts beginning at 9:30 am on April 27th! In addition to our children’s focused festivities in the morning the store will also be hosting preeminent Kansas City romance authors Maggie Rose and Kate Singleton and local artisans in the evening. Join us at Monarch Books & Gifts to support independent bookstores on April 27th!
