Night at the Arboretum

Embrace the arrival of spring and learn about baby animals in the wild.
Celebrate the Spring Equinox and revel in the beauty of the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens, which stays open late for this special evening. Explore the gardens as they begin to bloom under the starlit sky and gaze at celestial wonders through telescopes provided by the Astronomical Society of Kansas City.
Operation Wildlife will present “Don’t Touch That Baby,” an educational program on what to do if you find a baby animal in the wild.
Family-friendly activities kick off at 6 p.m., and the Arboretum closes at 9 p.m. This experience is free with regular Arboretum admission and is open to stargazers of all ages.
Arboretum admission: Free ages 5 and under, $2 ages 6-17, $5 ages 18+
