As we navigate yet another wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the good news is we have powerful tools to protect our families. Vaccines are now available for kids ages 5 and older and help prevent severe illness and death from COVID. To learn more about vaccine safety and effectiveness for kids, read this post.
COVID vaccines are now widely available in the KC Metro! You can always check with your child’s pediatrician or your primary care office for vaccine appointments. We have compiled community resources below for additional opportunities for ages 5+ to get vaccinated.
