We’re wearing our Chiefs shirts every day this week. We’re sending the kids in red shirts, yellow headbands and whatever else the school has cooked up for spirit week. We’re planning our menus, our photo props and lighting our Mahomes (um, and Taylor) candles in preparation for the Championship Game.

Take in a Chiefs-themed Light Show

A Red Kingdom family has crafted a synchronized light show to celebrate the Chiefs! You can see a preview on their Facebook page or just go see it for yourself! The light show runs Friday, Feb. 2 through Sunday, Feb. 11, 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. Located at 4213 NE 60th Ct Kansas City MO 64119.

Sarah grew up in Manhattan, Kansas (Go Cats!), she moved to Minnesota where she met her husband, Shea. Realizing how much she hated snow in May, she convinced him to move to Kansas City in 2010. Together they have lived in Midtown, Waldo, the Plaza, and now Overland Park. Sarah is mom to 10-year-old, Henry, 7-year-old Clark and 5-year-old Lucy. She has her master’s in urban administration and is passionate about making Kansas City a more equitable and supportive community. In between the crazy, she likes to drink coffee, run, hike, travel as much as possible, and experience all things Kansas City!
