Cellphones, sleepovers, video games, house rules, sports — these are all topics that can be tricky in parenting, especially when it comes to navigating these issues with other parents. How does our parenting style and choices play into our adult friendships? How do we handle being the odd mom out?
We are tackling these issues and more today with our guests and two local Kansas City moms, Marsha Roth, who is living this now, and Kris Drummond, who has been there, done that.

McDonald’s Restaurants
Back to school season is here! Local McDonald’s owner-operators are helping teachers prepare their classrooms with the supplies they need through their fundraiser – Fries for School Supplies! From August 22-26, local McDonald’s restaurants will donate 10 percent of all a la carte fry sales back to local schools in our area. Stop by your neighborhood McDonald’s restaurant and purchase any size side of Fries to support your local school. Last year, McDonald’s restaurants of Kansas City, St. Joseph and Lawrence raised over $60,000 from the Fries for School Supplies fundraiser!
