You’re Invited to Bloom 2020: Community, Inspiration and Prizes for New and Expecting Moms!

Please note: this page will be continuously updated as more sponsors or information is added so be sure to check back often!

Who: All Kansas City moms (you do not have to be expecting to attend!). This event is designed for moms who are currently expecting a baby, had a baby within the last year, foster moms of infants, or are planning on growing their family soon through birth or adoption.

What: Due to current restrictions, we are offering this event as a virtual only event in 2020. Even though we can’t gather in person, this is still a must-attend event!

You’ll hear from our keynote speakers, Laura Probasco-Johnson and Leah Probasco-Burns, from New Strong on how to keep your mind and heart strong as you navigate your motherhood story. You’ll connect with other moms in Kansas City who will make you feel less alone in your journey. And you’ll have the opportunity to snag some awesome giveaways, carefully curated for making mom life easier.

When: Thursday, Sept. 10, 6 – 9 p.m.

Where: Your couch, your bed, wherever you are most comfortable!

Sarah McGinnity
Sarah grew up in Manhattan, Kansas (Go Cats!), she moved to Minnesota where she met her husband, Shea. Realizing how much she hated snow in May, she convinced him to move to Kansas City in 2010. Together they have lived in Midtown, Waldo, the Plaza, and now Overland Park. Sarah is mom to four kids including a teenager and a toddler. She has her master’s in urban administration and is passionate about making Kansas City a more equitable and supportive community. In between the crazy, she likes to drink coffee, run, hike, travel as much as possible, and experience all things Kansas City!
