Welcoming New Moms at KC Mom + Baby 2023

Kansas City Mom Collective was excited to host our baby fair, KC Mom + Baby: An Event for New and Growing Families.

Moms, partners and support persons gathered in Olathe on a Sunday afternoon for support, resources, swag, giveaways and community.

Throughout the conference center, attendees gathered an abundance of resources, met with people who could assist in their new parenting journey, and shop for adorable clothing, gifts and the best baby gear around.

We were thrilled to have New Horizon Academy and AdventHealth as our title sponsors, KC Full Circle Midwifery & Family Wellness and Ash Law as our premier sponsors, Oakes Kia as our automobile sponsor, Scheels as our feature sponsor and Peachy Births: Doula & Lactation Services as our mother’s lounge sponsor.

Family and friends learned the proper way to secure their little ones in a car seat thanks to Child Passenger Safety Technician, Jordan Lemus at the Oakes Kia booth, where they could also check out family friendly vehicles.

Moms enjoyed our cravings bar, including pickles from Kansas City Canning Co. and frozen custard from Andy’s Frozen Custard. They also posed for cute selfies at the KC MOM sign adorably created by Boss Babe Balloon Co. and Luminate KC!

In addition, attendees sat in on chat sessions on preparing for your fourth trimester with AdventHealth, parents as brain builders with New Horiz on Academy, empowering mothers, nourishing families with KC Full Circle Midwifery & Family Wellness and the five letters (L-E-G-A-L) you need to protect your kids’ future with Ash Law.

The first 100 people walked away with a swag bag filled with more than $70 worth of goodies. In addition to swag, every attendee had a chance to win thousands of dollars worth of amazing giveaways from strollers and breast pumps to medical services and memberships.
